Core Breakers · Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what information Core Breakers ("the game") collects, why, and what choices you have. The game is published by TechBene ("we").
| Information | Why | Who processes it |
|---|---|---|
| Your progress (credits, core shards, upgrades, unlocks, records, settings, a saved run) | To save your game. It stays on your device; we never receive it | Nobody but your device |
| Purchase records (product, transaction ID) | To deliver and restore what you bought and to avoid delivering it twice. The transaction IDs are kept in your save on the device | Apple App Store or Google Play |
| Gameplay events (for example a run started or finished, a tutorial step, a module picked, a rewarded ad offered or watched, a purchase made or failed), an app-instance identifier, device and app information, and the country derived from your IP address | To understand how the game is played and where players stop, so we can improve it | Google Analytics for Firebase |
| IP address, device and app information, ad interactions, and on Android the advertising ID | To show rewarded ads, limit how often they repeat, measure them and prevent fraud | Google AdMob |
| Basic device information (model, operating system, graphics hardware) and, if the game engine crashes, a technical crash report | To keep the game engine working on different devices | Unity Technologies (the game engine) |
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data. Payments are handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play; we never see your card details.
If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, and use them only to answer you.
Ads appear only when you choose to watch one for a reward; the game has no banner or interstitial ads. They are served by Google AdMob, and the ads are limited to content suitable for teens. On Android, depending on your region and your choices, Google may use your advertising ID to show personalized ads. For details see how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
Gameplay events are tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your name. They are not used for advertising and not used to track you across other companies' apps: the game tells Google Analytics that advertising storage, advertising user data and ad personalization are not allowed.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics is switched on only if you agree to the storage of information on your device in the consent dialog. Until your choice is known, events wait on your device and are not sent; if you do not agree, they are discarded. You can change your choice under Settings › Privacy options.
Google deletes the event data 2 months after it is collected. Reports that only contain totals (for example "how many players finished the training run") can be kept longer; they do not identify anyone.
Purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play. The game receives the product and a transaction ID from the store and keeps them in your save on the device, so a purchase is delivered once and can be restored later. Looks and passes can always be restored with "Restore purchases". The Credits and Core Shards that come with a pack are given once per save. We do not sell random rewards.
Payments and refunds follow each store's policy. Consumable items that have been used cannot be refunded.
The game can remind you, at most once a day at 7 PM local time, that your daily supply or a new daily condition is ready. These reminders are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to us or to a server. The game offers reminders once, on a later day than your first; if you decline it does not ask again on its own. You can turn reminders on or off in Settings or in your device settings.
Settings › Progress › Make a backup code turns your saved game into a code you can copy. The code is made on your device and goes only where you put it yourself (for example your own notes). We do not receive it. Anyone who has the code can load your progress, so keep it to yourself. Purchases are not part of the code: on the new device, use Restore purchases.
On Android, if you have turned on your device's backup, Android may include the game's save in your own Google account backup and bring it back when you set up a new device. That backup is between you and Google; we do not receive it.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will help delete it.
The game has no server of its own. These companies process information for the game, in the countries where they operate (including the United States):
| Recipient | Information | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Google Analytics for Firebase) | Gameplay events and the other analytics items above | Usage analytics |
| Google LLC (AdMob) | The advertising items above | Showing and measuring rewarded ads, preventing fraud |
| Apple Inc. / Google LLC (app stores) | Purchase information | Payment and restoring purchases |
Where consent applies you can refuse advertising and analytics processing in the consent dialog or under Settings › Privacy options. The game still works; rewarded ads may then be unavailable or not personalized.
If we change this policy we will update the date above, and for significant changes we will tell you in the game.
